IT Network Architect

What you will do

• Mentor a small team of network and IT professionals to foster collaboration and high performance.
• Manage day-to-day network infrastructure including configuration, installation, and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Design and implement scalable, secure LAN/WAN and cloud networks to meet business demands.
• Serve as escalation point for complex network issues, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.
• Plan and execute network IT projects on time and within budget.
• Develop and enforce network security policies, managing firewalls, VPNs, NAC, and IDS/IPS.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders on requirements, SLAs, and project status.
• Maintain documentation for network architecture, configurations, and disaster recovery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• CCNP or equivalent certification highly preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in technical networking roles, with experience architecting enterprise networks and managing large IT projects.
• Advanced knowledge of routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP).
• Hands-on with enterprise switches, routers, firewalls, WLAN controllers, and cloud networking (AWS VPC/Direct Connect, Azure VNet/ExpressRoute).
• Strong network security (VPNs, IDS/IPS, access control).
• Enterprise wireless standards, network monitoring/automation tools.
• ITIL practices, analytical/problem-solving skills, communication, team leadership.
