TL;DR
Growth Associate (U.S. Air Force): Identifying, pursuing, and securing business opportunities through market analysis, capture strategy, and RFx development with an accent on competitive intelligence, win themes, and opportunity qualification. Focus on developing strategic messaging, translating customer needs into engineering priorities, and leading proposal narratives for multi-million-dollar awards.
Full-time onsite in Washington, D.C. office. Light (<20%) travel required to Los Angeles HQ and strategic meetings/events.
Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000

What you will do
- Conduct market research, monitor opportunities (e.g., Sam.gov), and perform competitive analysis to qualify prospects and inform teaming.
- Develop capture plans, strategic messaging, and win themes at pipeline and opportunity levels.
- Attend customer meetings, industry days, and conferences.
- Translate U.S. Air Force priorities into engineering roadmaps and product prioritization.
- Lead RFx content, proposals, white papers, and narratives as the U.S. Air Force subject matter expert.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Communications, Marketing, English, Computer Science, Business) or equivalent experience.
- +5 years’ experience working directly for U.S. Air Force (industry or government) preferred.
- Strong understanding of U.S. Government procurement, FAR, non-traditional pathways, and full capture lifecycle.
- Significant experience supporting/writing federal proposals with success in multi-million-dollar wins.
- Exceptional communication, attention to detail, strategic judgment, and risk assessment.
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
