TL;DR
Inside Sales Representative (Sales/Business Development): Driving new business and recapturing lost recurring sales by prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations, and closing opportunities through phone calls, emails, and online meetings. Focus on pipeline management, customer engagement, negotiating terms, and meeting monthly/quarterly sales targets across MW, EIR, and ED product lines.
Location: Gaithersburg, MD, US (20878). This position requires the use of information subject to ITAR regulations.
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 based on experience

What you will do
- Identify and qualify opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and sales tools using internal data and external research.
- Present product offerings and system solutions tailored to customer needs, collaborating with Technical Service and Field Sales.
- Manage pipeline of leads and opportunities with timely follow-ups to move prospects through the sales funnel.
- Build rapport with prospects, understand needs, and close sales by negotiating terms and ensuring satisfaction.
- Update CRM systems like Salesforce to track activities, manage customer info, and report accurately.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and uncover new opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inside sales, tele-sales, or customer service with a sales-driven attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage customers effectively
- Ability to understand customer needs, present solutions, and build relationships
- Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, handling rejection, and working independently
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools
- Strong organizational skills; Visa sponsorship is not available
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience (will consider new graduates)
