TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (Fintech): Prospect, qualify, and create new sales opportunities by connecting with potential customers through inbound and outbound outreach with an accent on cold calling, account-based strategies, and consistent follow-up. Focus on building pipeline, generating meetings, navigating gatekeepers, and transitioning qualified leads to Account Executives.

Location: Onsite in Seaport Boston, MA office 4x per week

Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 USD base

What you will do

  • Prospect and qualify leads using inbound and outbound strategies including cold calling, emails, and LinkedIn.
  • Execute account-based outreach in partnership with Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Maintain pipeline through persistent follow-up, discovery calls, and activity tracking.
  • Meet weekly and monthly goals for activities, meetings, and pipeline generation.
  • Update Salesforce with accurate data and transition opportunities to Account Executives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months professional experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing role
  • Hands-on experience or strong interest in cold calling and outbound prospecting
  • Comfort with high-volume engagement via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Ability to understand customer challenges and communicate hirify.global value
  • Experience working toward goals, quotas, or performance targets
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and coachability in fast-paced SaaS environment
