TL;DR

Legal Counsel (SaaS/Privacy): Own legal review for product launches across hirify.global Mail, VPN, Drive, Pass, and Calendar with an accent on GDPR compliance, commercial contracting, and AI regulation. Focus on drafting/negotiating SaaS agreements, handling government data requests, building AI governance frameworks, and enabling regulatory-compliant market expansion.

Location: Geneva (offices in Geneva, Zürich, Barcelona, London); most time spent collaborating face-to-face.

What you will do

• Own legal review for product launches, identifying regulatory risks.
• Draft, negotiate, and close SaaS, vendor, and partnership agreements.
• Advise on GDPR compliance and handle data requests, regulatory inquiries, and government requests.
• Build legal and governance framework for AI features, including EU AI Act compliance.
• Identify and fix gaps in contracts, templates, and compliance processes.
• Support expansion into new markets by assessing regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Fluent in English; French, German, or Spanish a plus.
• 3–5 years legal experience in law firm or in-house, with exposure to technology/SaaS/digital platforms.
• Solid working knowledge of GDPR and EU data protection law.
• Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate commercial technology contracts independently.
• Strong business judgment for clear, actionable advice.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AI regulation (EU AI Act) or AI product development.
• Experience with government legal requests or regulatory enforcement.
