What you will do
- Develop and implement scalable global product compliance program including frameworks, policies, SOPs for labeling, packaging, and regulations.
- Ensure products meet US, Canada, UK, EU requirements; monitor developments, conduct audits and risk assessments.
- Establish labeling standards (fiber content, care instructions, sustainability claims) and packaging compliance (EPR, recycling).
- Partner with sourcing, suppliers, product development for compliance in manufacturing and pre-launch reviews; manage third-party testing.
- Provide internal training, tools, and serve as SME for compliance questions; maintain documentation and tracking systems.
Requirements
- 6–10+ years in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or quality compliance.
- Deep experience in apparel, footwear, bags & accessories; knowledge of US, Canada, UK, EU regulations (REACH, Prop 65, flammability, textile labeling).
- Expertise in product labeling, packaging compliance, product safety, supplier programs, third-party testing/certifications.
- Experience building compliance programs in high-growth retail/ecommerce; strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with compliance management systems or PLM tools.
