TL;DR

Software Engineer (Reputation): Building and modularizing review data collection, storage, and serving systems for hirify.global's trust platform with an accent on scalable backend services and insights. Focus on defining technical strategy, architecture for reviews flows, standards enforcement, and creating a company-wide review platform.

Location: US - Remote Eligible; must live in a state where hirify.global, Inc. has a registered entity (check excluded states list)

Salary: $196,000 — $227,000 USD

What you will do

  • Work with cross-functional partners to design and deliver high-quality products in reviews, standards, and insights.
  • Define technical strategy, lead architecture, build, and launch solutions for reviews flows and user data provision.
  • Build reliable, performant, scalable backend solutions across the stack.
  • Influence stakeholders on technical direction, goals, and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate on product definitions and roadmaps with team and partners.
  • Work outside comfort zone for personal growth and create best practices.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in software engineering or related fields
  • Proven track record defining technical direction and owning architecture for large-scale systems
  • Drive technical strategy and architectural decisions spanning multiple teams
  • Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions across organizations
  • Service-oriented architecture experience
  • Experience with Agentic Coding tools
  • Proficiency in backend languages (Ruby/Java/Kotlin) and storage systems (relational DBs, NoSQL, caching)

  • Breadth of knowledge in reviews and metrics domain
