What you will do

• Lead technology decisions regarding the tech stack, backend design, and data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build and evolve the platform.
• Establish and grow the engineering organization while mentoring future technical leaders.
• Design and implement scalable backends and database structures to handle increasing user volume and business complexity.
• Manage DevOps tasks including containerization and CI/CD setup.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a backend software engineer.
• Proven track record of scaling backends and databases for high user volume.
• Experience with DevOps, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with AWS, Heroku, and CDN configuration.
• Must be based in the US.
• Prior experience in a high-growth stage company.
