What you will do

• Lead strategy for academic partnerships aligned with product roadmaps and developer ecosystem goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with engineering faculties, research groups, and program leads.
• Identify and engage new institutions with strong embedded, robotics, or automotive programs.
• Embed QNX technologies into coursework, labs, and project-based learning.
• Support workshops, engineering clubs, capstone projects, hackathons, and guest lectures.
• Coordinate with internal teams and track engagement metrics for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience managing partnerships or programs in academic, developer, or technical ecosystems.
• Technical background or familiarity with software development, developer workflows, and toolchains.
• Strong communication skills to engage faculty, students, and technical teams.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills for multiple initiatives.
• Ability to translate product features into academic use cases and work cross-functionally.
• Analytical skills with systems-thinking; willingness to travel to campuses and events.

Nice to have

• Developer relations, technical marketing, product management, or engineering experience.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, IoT, RTOS, or C/C++.
• Prior work with universities, teaching, or curriculum development.
• Experience organizing workshops, hackathons, or competitions.
• Additional languages like French, German, Japanese, Chinese, or Korean.
