What you will do

• Translate executive strategy into multi-year roadmaps and prioritized backlogs as Lead Product Owner.
• Document complex functional specifications and user stories for online/mobile banking and onboarding.
• Integrate AI-driven features such as intelligent search and predictive personalization into the product lifecycle.
• Oversee program governance across multiple workstreams, including budget management (CAPEX/OPEX) and ROI realization.
• Manage multi-vendor ecosystems (e.g., Central1, Mambu, Backbase) to ensure system interoperability.
• Lead Organizational Change Management (OCM) to drive adoption among staff and members.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technology leadership in financial services, with 5+ years specifically in Digital Banking or Core Modernization.
• Direct experience working within Credit Unions or Community Banking environments is mandatory.
• Proven track record leading implementations on platforms like Central1 Forge, Backbase, Mambu, Fiserv, FIS, or Intellect Design.
• Ability to perform deep-dive Business Analysis (UML, user stories) while managing high-level Program Governance.
• Expertise in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and navigating SOC2, OSFI, or BCFSA audit requirements.
• Must reside in and be eligible to work in Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience in multi-CU environments such as service bureaus.
• PMP, CSPO, or Scrum Professional certifications.
• Experience managing AI-enhanced features (chatbots, RPA) within a fintech context.
• Experience supporting legacy platform decommissioning and data migration strategies.
