What you will do
- Own the incident program, leading the design, evolution, and governance of incident processes.
- Build AI-powered incident systems, designing and shipping repeatable AI tools.
- Surface and resolve systemic issues, identifying recurring org friction and driving root-cause solutions.
- Build and maintain reporting using Databricks, Looker, and related tools.
- Raise the bar by instilling rigor and accountability, coaching responders and incident roles.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering leads, product, support, security, GTM, and leadership to strengthen practices.
Requirements
- Deep incident management experience, having built and led incident response programs or reliability-focused work.
- Experience re-engineering how work happens based on where AI is headed.
- Ability to influence without authority by building trust and coalitions.
- Technical empathy to engage with engineers, support leads, and product leaders.
- Analytical and hands-on with data, using tools like Databricks and SQL.
- Ability to work well remotely.
