Head of People (Global): Own and operate the full spectrum of HR functions across a global organization spanning multiple countries with an accent on talent acquisition, performance management, and scaling HR operations. Location: Hybrid in United States, covering teams in Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, UK, and US

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end HR globally including talent acquisition, HR business partnering, employee engagement, learning & development, payroll, compensation & benefits, and HR operations.
  • Lead critical hiring across technical, commercial, and corporate roles ensuring quality, speed, and consistency across regions.
  • Partner with founders and senior leaders on organization design, workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Build and operate simple performance management, feedback, and development frameworks actively used by managers.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to strengthen alignment, retention, and execution without bureaucracy.
  • Act as hands-on HRBP for senior leaders, supporting people decisions, performance issues, and organizational changes.
  • Manage global payroll, compensation, benefits, compliance, and employment structures across jurisdictions.
  • Design scalable HR processes and systems; build and mentor a high-quality HR team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading end-to-end HR in a fast-growing international organization.
  • Strong hands-on background operating at strategic and execution levels.
  • Experience managing HR across multiple countries with local entities, remote employees, and third-party structures.
  • Solid expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, payroll, and HR operations.
  • Strong judgment, business acumen, and pragmatic decision-making in ambiguity.
  • High ownership mindset, comfortable solving problems directly and working closely with founders in a fast-paced environment.
