What you will do

  • Monitor regulatory changes, manage compliance reporting and documentation, draft policies, and update the employee handbook.
  • Administer employee benefits programs including health, retirement, leave, enrollments, and life events with vendors.
  • Conduct benefits surveys, recommend new offerings, and execute feedback.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS, support compliance filings, and implement HR programs for consistency and positive experience.
  • Support employees across multiple states and countries.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years specialized experience in HR Compliance and Benefits Administration
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ACA)
  • Experience administering benefits programs, life events, and open enrollment
  • Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems for accurate employee data
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Customer-centric mindset for responsive employee support

Nice to have

  • HRIS implementation or optimization experience
  • Multi-state employment law experience
  • Global benefits administration
  • Knowledge of ERISA and 401(k) compliance
