Regional Controller

TL;DR

Regional Controller (Accounting): Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations for several hirify.global US operating companies with an accent on accurate financial reporting, US GAAP compliance, and financial leadership. Focus on leading close processes, preparing financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and integrating newly acquired companies.

Location: Fully Remote (US: Texas, Los Angeles, California, Utah)

What you will do

• Manage daily accounting and finance operations as primary accountant for the US region.
• Lead month-end close, including journal entries preparation and review.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and serve as primary financial contact.
• Maintain internal controls, support tax and audit requests.
• Assist with integrating acquired companies into accounting processes.

Requirements

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 7-10 years progressive experience in accounting/finance, preferably regional/multi-location.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial regulations.
• Experience with financial software (Jedox, CINC, QuickBooks a plus).
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in real estate or property management industry.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
