What you will do

• Partner with stakeholders across front, middle, and back office to understand current processes, pain points, and constraints.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to challenge existing ways of working and define forward-thinking future states.
• Lead process analysis and redesign, especially in operations teams.
• Identify opportunities for technology, data, automation, or AI to advance the operating model.
• Act as bridge between business teams and delivery functions like technology, keeping business needs central.
• Contribute to change portfolio by prioritizing initiatives and aligning with strategic objectives.
• Support development of change capacity through analysis best practices.

Requirements

• Several years experience as Business Analyst, Business Change, or Process Improvement in commodities or energy trading sector.
• Demonstrable understanding of commodities operations, especially middle/back office (trade lifecycle, confirmations, settlements, risk, P&L, reference/market data).
• Proven experience analyzing and redesigning processes in complex, cross-functional, global environments.
• Strong collaboration skills to challenge assumptions while building trust.
• Experience with technology-enabled change, including automation and AI.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-shaping skills in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in operating model or target architecture design.
• Experience shaping AI strategy or embedding AI into processes for efficiency, controls, or insights.
