TL;DR
Director, Value-Based Partnerships (Point-of-Care Ultrasound): Lead business development for POCUS programs with health plans, ACOs, and risk-bearing entities to enable earlier detection, faster decisions, and proactive patient management in home and community settings. Focus on developing growth strategies, managing full partnership lifecycles from prospecting to launch, and integrating ultrasound-enabled pathways to reduce hospitalizations and costs.
Location: Hybrid position based in Burlington, MA or New York City, NY. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require visa sponsorship.
Salary: around $200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

What you will do
- Develop and execute growth strategies targeting payers, value-based provider groups, PACE programs, and risk-bearing entities
- Identify opportunities for point-of-care ultrasound programs supporting earlier diagnosis and proactive care management
- Lead full partnership lifecycle from prospecting through contracting and program launch
- Collaborate with partners to implement ultrasound-enabled clinical pathways for population health goals
- Position programs to reduce avoidable hospitalizations, ED visits, and healthcare costs
- Build executive relationships in population health, medical management, and clinical operations
Requirements
- 7+ years of healthcare business development or strategic partnership experience
- Experience with payers, risk-bearing provider groups, population health programs, or value-based care organizations
- Strong understanding of healthcare economics and value-based care models
- Proven ability to build executive-level relationships and develop strategic partnerships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Nice to have
- Experience selling clinical programs, medical devices, or healthcare services
- Familiarity with point-of-care diagnostics or imaging
- Experience with PACE programs, ACOs, or integrated delivery networks
- Knowledge of population health and care pathway redesign
