Psychiatrist - Child & Adolescent - 1099 Contractor (Remote) - New Jersey

What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and formulate diagnoses across child and adolescent developmental stages.
• Create individualized treatment plans and provide medication management for anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and related conditions.
• Deliver live 60-minute video intake appointments and regular virtual follow-up care.
• Engage families in treatment planning, provide mental health education, and recommend supportive measures at home.
• Collaborate with clinicians through team meetings, care planning, consultations, and therapy or coaching referrals.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation, assess outcomes with data, and follow regulatory and quality standards.

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and an active license in at least one US state.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with live video tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, Doxy.me, or Skype.
• Familiarity with JCAHO guidelines and practice within an accredited framework.
• Previous telehealth therapy experience is preferred but not required.
