Account Director, Higher Education (AI): Drive sales of ChatGPT Enterprise to universities and education institutions with an accent on technical understanding, vision, partnership, and value-driven strategy. Focus on leading prospects through the full sales cycle, building complex evaluations and pilots, and partnering with researchers, engineers, and solution strategists to evolve customer AI journeys.
Hybrid: 3 days per week in office in San Francisco, New York, or Washington DC; US-based only.
$261K – $352K + Equity

What you will do
- Lead enterprise prospects from consideration to purchase.
- Partner with Account Associates, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to build complex evaluations, demos, and pilots.
- Forecast pipeline and targets weekly.
- Monitor industry landscape to inform product roadmap and strategies.
- Collaborate across solutions, marketing, operations, finance, product, and engineering.
- Support teammate recruitment, onboarding, and company culture development.
Requirements
- US-based with ability to work hybrid in SF, NY, or DC.
- Selling platform-as-a-service or software-as-a-service at product-led growth companies.
- Experience selling into higher education institutions.
- Achieving >$1M revenue targets for 6+ years.
- Designing and executing complex deal strategies.
- Supporting growth of fast-growing companies and leading high-visibility events.
