TL;DR

Account Director, Higher Education (AI): Drive sales of ChatGPT Enterprise to universities and education institutions with an accent on technical understanding, vision, partnership, and value-driven strategy. Focus on leading prospects through the full sales cycle, building complex evaluations and pilots, and partnering with researchers, engineers, and solution strategists to evolve customer AI journeys.

Hybrid: 3 days per week in office in San Francisco, New York, or Washington DC; US-based only.

What you will do

  • Lead enterprise prospects from consideration to purchase.
  • Partner with Account Associates, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to build complex evaluations, demos, and pilots.
  • Forecast pipeline and targets weekly.
  • Monitor industry landscape to inform product roadmap and strategies.
  • Collaborate across solutions, marketing, operations, finance, product, and engineering.
  • Support teammate recruitment, onboarding, and company culture development.

Requirements

  • US-based with ability to work hybrid in SF, NY, or DC.
  • Selling platform-as-a-service or software-as-a-service at product-led growth companies.
  • Experience selling into higher education institutions.
  • Achieving >$1M revenue targets for 6+ years.
  • Designing and executing complex deal strategies.
  • Supporting growth of fast-growing companies and leading high-visibility events.
