What you will do

• Manage and grow a team of engineers, partnering with Product, Compliance/Legal, and Analytics to drive delivery through technical decision-making and operational discipline.
• Develop deep understanding of ETL pipeline system design and upstream data dependencies.
• Own key outcomes and metrics like accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and incident rates; lead multi-quarter cross-org initiatives to improve pipeline quality and reliability.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of team systems.
• Partner with product managers and diverse engineering teams to design and build systems for loan repayment lifecycle and collections.
• Build relationships with senior management and participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 7+ years as software engineer with leadership responsibilities and 2+ years as engineering manager.
• Fluency in backend system design.
• Prior experience architecting, building, launching, and maintaining consumer-scale products.
• Experience growing and managing high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills.
• Drive to improve consumer financial services.
