What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of software engineers specializing in backend, web, and mobile platforms, building high-impact systems.
• Define and drive the team roadmap in collaboration with Product.
• Create team setup for predictable delivery, engineering quality, and healthy collaboration.
• Conduct 1-1s to mentor and coach engineers, unlocking their potential.
• Communicate context and decisions to engineers, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams across verticals for unified payments UX.

Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on software development experience, comfortable staying hands-on with coding and technical decisions.
• Experience owning a product or platform end-to-end.
• Led high-performing engineering teams with strong leadership, people management, hiring, growing, and retaining talent.
• Balance execution with long-term vision, effective processes, and data-driven decisions.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments/fintech.
• Experience building platforms, SDKs, or reusable components.
