Forward Deployed Engineer

Location: Canada; Montreal, Quebec. Work modes include in-person, hybrid, and remote; remote employees may need to travel for in-person team-building events.

What you will do

• Refine customer needs and requirements into clear use cases and solution designs.
• Build working prototypes and technical proofs based on approved architectures.
• Translate business and architectural requirements into functional, testable solutions.
• Validate feasibility, performance, and scalability through hands-on experimentation.
• Iterate solutions rapidly to accelerate production readiness.
• Collaborate with Technical Engagement Managers and Technical Success Architects, and share reusable solution patterns across teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, system integration, or a related field.
• Strong ability to prototype across APIs, data pipelines, and frontend/backend systems.
• Experience working in ambiguous, high-impact environments requiring rapid iteration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an experimentation-driven mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience working directly with customers in technical, solution-oriented roles.
• Ability to move between business context and deep technical execution.
• Experience contributing insights that influence product or platform evolution.
