Intern SEA Performance Marketing (m/f/d)

TL;DR

Intern SEA Performance Marketing: Support the planning, execution and optimisation of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads with an accent on keyword research, performance monitoring and data-driven decisions. Focus on spotting trends, preparing reports, brainstorming strategies and integrating generative AI trends.

Location: Munich Office, flexible hybrid setup with 3 office days per week

What you will do

• Support daily SEA campaign operations including keyword research, ad copy reviews and campaign setup
• Monitor performance, spot trends through data collection and analysis
• Prepare performance reports and competitor benchmarking for optimisation
• Contribute ideas on bidding strategies, audience targeting and testing
• Stay updated on search engine changes, industry innovations and AI/automation trends
• Collaborate with Analytics, Product Marketing and Design teams for campaign alignment

Requirements

• Fluency in English; other languages a plus
• Strong interest in digital marketing, performance advertising and e-commerce
• First experience or exposure to SEA (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads) through studies, internships or self-learning
• Analytical thinking and basic understanding of metrics like CTR, CPC, ROAS
• Curiosity, proactive mindset, structured and collaborative working style
