TL;DR

SEM Analyst (Marketing Analytics): Building a data foundation for paid search decisions at a global scale with an accent on reporting automation and Google Ads API integration. Focus on connecting paid search activity to business outcomes through SQL, Python, and BI tools.

Location: Hybrid in Berlin or London. Currently unable to offer relocation assistance or visa sponsorship.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain SEM performance dashboards using Tableau or Looker for both high-level reporting and deep troubleshooting.
  • Leverage the Google Ads API to extract granular data at keyword, search term, and audience levels.
  • Integrate ad platform data with internal metrics to connect paid search activity to real downstream business outcomes.
  • Design, track, and document A/B tests to translate analytical findings into actionable campaign recommendations.
  • Manage and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including keyword research and bid management.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data/marketing analytics or SEM roles with a focus on reporting and analysis.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas/NumPy) for manipulating large datasets.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Looker for data visualization.
  • Strong understanding of Google Ads metrics and paid search contexts.
  • Must have the right to work in Germany or the UK without sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Academic background in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Practical familiarity with the Google Ads API.
  • Experience or interest in utilizing AI for data automation and analysis.
