Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (.NET/Java)

TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (.NET/Java): Building and supporting cloud-based services and applications for the Group Content Platform with an accent on C# & Java development, databases, and asynchronous systems. Focus on full software development lifecycle, agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, and production support.

Location: Hybrid with 2 days a week onsite in Osterley campus, London

What you will do

• Build cloud-based services and applications for the Group Content Platform.
• Participate in all stages of software development lifecycle using C# & Java, from analysis to post-launch support.
• Enhance and support production applications and services.
• Contribute to technical direction and day-to-day delivery in a scrum team.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and testers in agile cycles.
• Manage and coach team members on design, architecture, and code quality.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with .NET (C#) and/or Java, SQL (Oracle, SQL Server), NoSQL (Couchbase, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, methodologies (Scrum, SOLID, TDD, OOP, REST APIs).
• Applied knowledge of JavaScript, web frontend technologies (React/Redux, Node.js).
• Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines (Concourse, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes), build tools.
• Hands-on with automated testing frameworks (Pytest, Groovy, Spock, Playwright).
• Experience with message-oriented middleware (ActiveMQ, Kafka), monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Proven mentoring experience, excellent communication, adaptability (senior level).
