Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (.NET/Java)

Location: London, UK; hybrid working with 2 days a week onsite at the Osterley campus

What you will do

• Build and support cloud-based services and applications for the Group Content Platform.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and design through implementation and post-launch support.
• Enhance and support production applications and provide production-service support after training.
• Contribute to technical direction, architecture, design decisions, and code quality.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and testers in a Scrum team throughout the agile delivery cycle.
• Manage and coach team members while providing technical guidance.

Requirements

• Extensive system development experience with .NET/C#, Java, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices, Scrum, design patterns, SOLID, test-driven development, object-oriented design, and REST APIs.
• Experience with JavaScript and web frontend technologies such as React/Redux and Node.
• Experience setting up automated CI/CD pipelines and using tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, TeamCity, and GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and asynchronous messaging middleware such as ActiveMQ or Kafka, plus monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Senior-level mentoring experience, strong communication skills, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
