About the Role

You will shape product direction, translate complex client and regulatory requirements into clear business requirements and technical specifications, and prioritise product features and roadmaps. You will coordinate delivery across technology, operations, legal, risk, and participants, manage release sequencing and critical paths, drive discovery with customers, produce high-quality documentation, and represent product in governance and stakeholder forums.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of RTGS, high-value payments, and settlement processes including DvP and PvP
• Practical experience with SWIFT ISO 20022 MX messaging and familiarity with MT and MX formats
• Experience working within regulated payment institutions and engaging legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders
• Understanding of financial services regulation related to payments and market infrastructure
• Familiarity with blockchain and distributed ledger technology
• Understanding of distributed systems, reliability, security, and high-performance architectures
• Experience working with engineering teams and integration partners
• Practical experience using Confluence and Jira
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile delivery methodologies
• Strong written communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Shape product direction and define product goals and KPIs
• Translate client and regulatory requirements into business requirements and technical specifications
• Prioritise product features and maintain product roadmaps
• Coordinate delivery, manage release sequencing, and define the critical path
• Facilitate collaboration across product, technology, operations, legal, risk, and customers
• Maintain and update risk, issues, and dependency logs and escalate blockers
• Produce high-quality documentation, business requirements, and acceptance criteria
• Drive continuous discovery and incorporate customer and regulatory feedback
• Represent product in governance meetings and stakeholder forums
