TL;DR

Salary: $136,500 to $253,500 (California, annual)

What you will do

  • Partner with Finance to analyze business performance and provide data-driven pricing recommendations.
  • Translate technical engineering concepts into business implications for decision-making.
  • Build analytical models, forecast scenarios, and operational dashboards.
  • Support product, pricing, and deal analysis combining engineering and financial frameworks.
  • Identify system gaps and collaborate with IT on scalable process and tool improvements.
  • Automate data flows and reporting for operational efficiency.
  • Drive cross-functional projects and present insights to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related.
  • 8–10 years in technical analysis, business analysis, FP&A, product operations, or similar blending engineering and business.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and analytics tools.
  • Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret complex data, build models, and communicate insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and business judgment.

Nice to have

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, ERP/CRM (SAP, SFDC), and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with pricing models, deal analysis, or financial forecasting.
  • Exposure to product development lifecycle or engineering workflows.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau or similar).
  • Ability to work in dynamic, high-growth environment with competing priorities.
