What you will do
- Personally execute end-to-end payroll processing with primary focus on Canada and US, including inputs, calculations, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Administer North American benefits (health, dental, retirement) and international benefits across EMEA, LATAM, APAC in partnership with vendors.
- Ensure compliance with global payroll and benefits regulations, support audits, and maintain data confidentiality.
- Act as escalation point for employee inquiries on payroll and benefits, collaborating with HR, Finance, and vendors.
- Manage payroll/HRIS systems like UKG, Workday, CloudPay, ADP; produce reporting and drive process improvements.
Requirements
- 10+ years payroll experience including 3+ years in Payroll Lead/Manager role
- Hands-on experience processing Canada and US payroll (mandatory, not oversight)
- Payroll certification required (PCP, CPM, CPP or equivalent)
- Advanced Excel skills, experience with payroll/HRIS systems (UKG, Workday, etc.)
- Degree/diploma in HR, Business, Accounting or related; proficiency in English
- Strong numeracy, detail-orientation, ability to manage multiple time zones
