Head of PEO Sales (PEO): Design and build 's PEO sales organization from 0→1, including sales motion, playbook, team hiring, and personal deal-closing in early months with an accent on converting existing 400k+ payroll customers and channel partnerships. Focus on defining pipeline architecture in Salesforce, navigating PEO selling seasons, and driving AI adoption for sales efficiency and forecasting.
Location: Remote from Denver CO, Las Vegas NV, Atlanta GA, Chicago IL, Phoenix AZ, Toronto ON (Canada); hybrid 2-3 days/week in offices (Denver, San Francisco, New York)
Salary: OTE $256,667–$280,000/yr (Denver & most remote locations), $292,133–$318,000/yr (San Francisco & New York); 60% base / 40% uncapped commission

What you will do
- Sell and build simultaneously: carry personal book of business while designing sales motion, pipeline in Salesforce, and team infrastructure.
- Own full talent lifecycle: define hiring profiles, interview, onboard PEO sales talent, and scale headcount.
- Develop channel strategy for brokers, accountants, and referrals to drive scalable pipeline.
- Create playbook for converting existing 500k+ payroll customers to PEO, handling unique motions and objections.
- Plan around PEO selling season (Sept–Dec peak), set pipeline targets, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product.
- Champion AI adoption: integrate tools for pipeline insights, coaching, forecasting; build data-driven culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years PEO sales experience, building sales org 0→1 in high-growth environment.
- Player-coach: carry quota while building team/process; 5+ years people management.
- PEO selling season fluency (Sept–Dec pipeline, Jan 1 closes).
- Salesforce RevOps/pipeline design; inbound/outbound SMB SaaS/HCM methodologies.
- Install base conversion strategies; channel (broker/accountant) experience.
- AI leadership in sales; cross-functional collaboration; results track record.
