TL;DR

Head of Sales (Privacy Tech): Lead and scale a high-growth sales team for an AI-powered enterprise privacy governance SaaS platform with an accent on outbound pipeline generation, enterprise deal closure, and team development. Focus on driving revenue through proactive hunting, refining sales playbooks, and closing strategic deals with CISOs and CPOs at Fortune 1000 companies.

Location: Hybrid role in Tysons, VA office (DMV corridor), located in or willing to relocate to Northern Virginia / Maryland / DC area, 2–3 days per week in office

Compensation: OTE $350K+, uncapped commissions ($600K+ achievable), range $350K–$450K

What you will do

  • Own revenue targets, lead team quota achievement, and set performance standards
  • Inherit and scale outbound-focused team of AEs and BDRs, doubling headcount in 2026
  • Drive self-sourced outbound pipeline and champion proactive prospecting culture
  • Engage CISOs, CPOs, CIOs at mid-market and Fortune 1000 companies through full sales cycles
  • Refine sales playbook including ICP targeting, cadences, messaging, and objection handling
  • Hands-on close strategic deals, collaborate with CEO, product, and marketing teams

Requirements

  • 10+ years B2B SaaS sales with enterprise deal closure track record
  • 3–5+ years sales leadership as player-coach at startup/high-growth company
  • Experience selling to CISOs, CPOs, CIOs, VPs of Security at private enterprises
  • Background in data privacy, cybersecurity, IAM, GRC, or compliance tech preferred
  • Located in or willing to relocate to DMV corridor (Northern Virginia/Maryland/DC)
  • Strong hunting instincts, pipeline building, consultative selling to C-suite
