Principal, Business Development (Physical AI & Robotics): Create and own the comprehensive GTM strategy for the Physical AI vertical, bridging AI infrastructure with robotics, humanoid robots, and simulation tools. Focus on identifying top innovators, securing design partnerships, mapping software stacks, and scaling revenue through high-volume compute consumption.

Location: Remote-first — work from anywhere in the US, with preferred hubs in SF Bay Area and Austin

OTE: $300,000–$350,000 + equity

What you will do

• Create and own GTM strategy for Physical AI vertical, including segmentation, targeting, and positioning for model builders, robot builders, and ISVs
• Identify and secure relationships with top 10 innovative companies, converting them into design partners
• Own long-term revenue trajectory, translating technical wins into high-volume compute at scale
• Build Physical AI Playbook with battle cards, training, and positioning guides for sales organization
• Map software stack and structure co-sell partnerships
• Serve as voice of Physical AI customer to Product & Engineering and evangelize at industry events

Requirements

• 7+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or product strategy within Cloud, AI, or Robotics
• Proven ability to define GTM strategy from scratch, including market segmentation and playbook creation
• Deep fluency in Physical AI ecosystem: Sim2Real, foundation model training, inference latency, key players
• Experience bringing complex technologies to early adopters
• Cross-functional orchestration aligning Sales, Marketing, Product, and Partnerships
• Strong executive presence with VC-backed founders and CTOs

Nice to have

• Direct experience in robotics, humanoids, or autonomous systems
• Existing relationships with Physical AI ecosystem players
• Conference speaking experience at CVPR, CoRL, ICRA
• Technical degree in CS, Robotics, or Engineering
