TL;DR
Business Development Manager (Grid Data Management): Developing and executing Go-To-Market strategy for TRUSync Grid Data Management, TRUGrid, and TRUFlex solutions with an accent on utility and renewables markets. Focus on identifying and closing sales opportunities, building partnerships with system integrators, renewable developers, EPCs, and key stakeholders in North American utilities.
Location: Hybrid preferred in Raleigh, NC or Norwalk, CT offices; remote may be considered. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Willing to travel domestically as required.

What you will do
- Develop and execute Go-To-Market strategy for Grid Data Management and automation solutions to drive top-line revenue growth.
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in utility, renewables, system integrators, EPCs, solar, battery, EV, and microgrid markets.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, product management, channel partners, and senior leaders to prioritize accounts and establish partnerships.
- Design innovative strategies, assess market effectiveness, monitor competitors, and provide feedback to leadership.
- Manage pricing strategy and achieve sales objectives through consultative selling to C-level and technical leaders.
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and valid driver's license.
- Bachelor’s degree required (technical preferred), MBA strongly preferred; minimum 10 years in sales or marketing management in utility software/SaaS.
- Proven track record exceeding sales targets in complex SaaS sales to North American utilities (IOU, cooperative, public).
- Experience selling enterprise SaaS using consultative methodologies, developing GTM strategies, and closing strategic deals.
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy market, regulations, trends; experience with analytics, SCADA, OMS, DMS, ADMS, DERMS a plus.
- Proficient in CRM (e.g., Salesforce); excellent communication, interpersonal skills; self-motivated team player.
