What you will do

• Lead the BMS Hardware engineering team, managing technical execution, staffing, and capability development.
• Own hardware architecture, design, and technical direction for BMS products including sensing, processing, power, and interfaces.
• Deliver BMS hardware for NTI, NPI, and CPI programs supporting current and next-generation platforms.
• Drive integration with controls, software, battery systems, power electronics, and validation teams.
• Provide leadership for electronics development, standards, and best practices across domains.
• Engage suppliers on architecture, reviews, safety, regulatory, and durability requirements.
• Communicate status, risks, and plans to leadership for predictable execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Extensive experience in tactical/strategic planning, decision making, critical thinking, and effective communications.
• Technical excellence in relevant technologies and project management.
• Ability to collaborate globally and manage projects efficiently.
• Located in Mossville, IL with 5-day on-site requirement. Travel up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with battery systems, BMS hardware, high-reliability electronics.
