TL;DR

Mechanical Engineer: Contributing to the development and maintenance of new and existing products, working in a cross-functional environment with electrical controls, thermal & other development groups with an accent on high density and liquid cooling applications for data centers. Focus on providing daily support to manufacturing operations, creating/modifying mechanical parts/assemblies/drawings in CAD systems, and assisting with prototype builds.

Location: Onsite at hirify.global's Ironton, OH location.

What you will do

  • Provide daily support to manufacturing operations by ensuring seamless product flow through the production line.
  • Create/modify mechanical Parts/Assemblies/drawings in CAD systems, such as Creo and/or Solid Edge.
  • Create and maintain Bill of Materials and unit configurator logic.
  • Work with Manufacturing, Service and Quality to understand their requirements.
  • Assist with prototype builds by providing technical support and guidance.
  • Assist with troubleshooting of escalated or re-occurring field issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or directly related degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of mechanical design & analysis experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts, products, and safety.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software, preferred CREO 10.0 and greater
  • Experience with Sheetmetal, piping and assemblies is a plus.
  • Change order management and Data-entry systems familiarity - Oracle, Agile, etc.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
