Location: Onsite 5 days a week in Decatur or Mossville, IL, USA

What you will do

• Lead the mechanical design and integration of electrical systems within complex vehicle platforms.
• Develop components, brackets, harness routing paths, and enclosures balancing performance and durability.
• Manage cost, quality, validation, and schedules for assigned engineering projects.
• Collaborate with suppliers to optimize manufacturability and serviceability.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to address assembly feasibility and installation repeatability.
• Execute prototype builds and perform fit, form, function, and durability assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related accredited discipline.
• Experience with heavy equipment or mining applications.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle systems integration, including routing, packaging, and structural interfaces.
• Proficiency with Creo, Vis View, and Teamcenter.
