Vice President, Legal (Fintech)

What you will do

• Provide legal advice and support to the Equities business across the APAC region.
• Focus on Equities Sales and Trading, Market Access, Equity Derivatives, Prime Brokerage and Futures clearing.
• Advise on regulatory matters impacting the Equities business (including global and local regulations).
• Prepare, maintain, and update precedent legal documentation and agreements.
• Work with the Global Banking and Markets Compliance team on regulatory matters and investigations.
• Assist in the preparation of materials for submission to regional and global committees.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years PQE.
• Relevant post-qualification experience with a reputable law firm or as in-house counsel.
• Strong grounding in securities law and regulation, equity derivatives and financing, and/or prime brokerage and clearing.
• Working knowledge of regulatory developments impacting the markets in APAC.
• Mandarin language skills will also be an advantage.
