Account Manager (Market Research): Building and managing relationships with companies within a specific industry sector, acting as a trusted advisor regarding the importance and potential of market research, innovation, and consumer centricity with an accent on ensuring consistent growth and retention. Focus on proactively building a high-quality outbound pipeline and driving renewals, reactivations, and upsells.

Location: Fully remote position open to candidates based in Germany, the UK, Portugal, the Netherlands, and Spain. Ideally based in Germany, Hamburg.

What you will do

  • Take commercial ownership of a diverse portfolio of small and medium sized accounts, ensuring consistent growth and retention.
  • Proactively build a high-quality outbound pipeline, identifying and approaching new prospects within your target market.
  • Drive renewals, reactivations, and upsells across your account base, leveraging automation, data, and scaled communication tactics.
  • Analyse account performance, pipeline health, and funnel metrics to guide your strategy and improve conversion.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Research team to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Maintain organised, data-backed account management processes — ensuring visibility, prioritisation, and accountability in all activities.

Requirements

  • You have 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the Market Research industry, and understand how to translate insights into value.
  • You’re a hungry, proactive hunter who enjoys taking ownership of your pipeline and driving results.
  • You have a consultative, empathetic mindset, skilled at understanding client needs and building meaningful relationships.
  • You’re organised, analytical, and data-driven, using structure and insights to guide decisions and improve performance.
  • You’re naturally curious, coachable, and eager to learn, always looking to grow your commercial skills.
  • You are fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
