Manager, Accounting

Location: New York City, United States. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Base salary: $172,000–$176,300 USD per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Review journal entries, complex accruals, prepaid schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Design and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and audit-ready documentation.
• Manage, mentor, and develop accounting team members while prioritizing workloads.
• Prepare tax reports and regulatory filings for US and Canada entities.
• Partner with external auditors, consultants, and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues.

Requirements

• 8 years of professional accounting experience.
• At least 2 years managing teams or working in a controllership capacity.
• Experience in a global high-tech environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP consolidations, financial close, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• 10 or more years of professional accounting experience.
• 3 or more years managing teams or working in a controllership capacity.
