Director Private Market Operations (Private Markets)

Salary: $175,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day execution across private fund and investor lifecycles, including subscriptions, capital calls, distributions, onboarding, and wind-down.
• Coordinate administrators, custodians, general partners, and other providers while reviewing calculations, notices, records, and compliance workflows.
• Lead operational workstreams for new fund launches, translating fund documents into operating models, workflows, controls, playbooks, and service-level agreements.
• Set standards for client and investor servicing, including implementation, reporting, post-trade confirmations, and operational communications.
• Project-manage complex cross-functional initiatives with Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Commercial teams.
• Partner on scalable workflow design, automation, integrations, vendor projects, analyst mentoring, and future team management.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in financial services or investment operations, focused on private markets.
• Hands-on expertise across onboarding, subscriptions, capital calls, distributions, and ongoing investor servicing.
• Ability to interpret LPAs, PPMs, subscription documents, side letters, and administrator agreements and convert their terms into operational requirements.
• Strong project management, process design, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with fund administrators, custodians, and other third-party providers.
• Degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field; strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
