Chief Financial Officer (Fintech)

Location: In-office in Atlanta, San Diego, or Orlando, United States. Frequent travel between offices and to lender, investor, and partner meetings is expected.

Base salary: $300,000–$450,000 per year, plus performance incentive, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and defend unit economics by product, channel, and cohort, including acquisition cost, yield, losses, servicing, and contribution margin.
• Own rolling forecasts, enterprise budgets, profitability reporting, and integrated financial reporting across multiple business units and entities.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, investments, lines of credit, warehouse facilities, covenant compliance, and funding capacity.
• Lead capital-raising initiatives, lender and investor relationships, syndications, securitizations, and other structured transactions.
• Partner with the President, executive team, and Risk function on strategy, portfolio performance, reserves, financial risk, and new products.
• Lead finance, accounting, treasury, and support professionals while strengthening controls, compliance, governance, and financial systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred and CPA certification is strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership in financial services, with lending and leasing experience strongly preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience leading and developing teams, including other leaders.
• Hands-on experience with alternative finance products, amortized asset portfolios, treasury, cash flow management, lines of credit, and warehouse financing.
• Experience with syndications, asset securitization, capital markets, enterprise-scale budgeting and forecasting, consolidation, and regulated-industry controls.
• Strong knowledge of SOC audits and FASB 13, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and NetSuite.
