What you will do

• Design and execute comprehensive risk management frameworks, focusing on merchant risk and fraud prevention.
• Define and oversee risk control policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure organizational compliance.
• Develop advanced analytics and modeling techniques using SQL and Python to proactively detect high-risk patterns.
• Mentor and guide team members in risk assessment, incident analysis, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, Product, and Compliance teams to align risk strategies with business goals.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments to adapt risk strategies and enhance system resilience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Data Analytics.
• 8+ years of experience in risk management or fraud detection within fintech, crypto, or payments.
• At least 2 years in a team leadership or strategic role.
• Deep expertise in merchant risk, KYB/KYC processes, and transaction monitoring.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Excellent English communication skills for engaging with international stakeholders.
