What you will do
- Own the full sales lifecycle from qualification to closing within SLED accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans with full P&L responsibility.
- Build and maintain relationships with C-level and executive leadership across government and education.
- Partner with cloud providers like Google Cloud and Salesforce to drive go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to scope projects and draft Statements of Work.
- Work with marketing to execute regional campaigns and showcase customer success stories.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in technology services sales to State and Local government agencies.
- Must be based in the United States and eligible to work without visa sponsorship.
- Strong understanding of cloud adoption, data architecture, and analytics.
- Proven expertise in government procurement processes and agency-specific needs.
- Ability to travel significantly within the region for client-facing engagements.
- Proven ability to establish credibility with IT and business decision-makers.
Nice to have
- Experience with California procurement processes and specific agencies like CalTrans or Health and Human Services.
- Experience in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
- Appetite for positioning cutting-edge AI solutions.
- Proficiency with Google Cloud for forecasting and financial-based selling.
