TL;DR

Sales Director (HR Managed Services): Driving the full sales cycle for HR-managed services and fractional leadership solutions with an accent on consultative selling to small and mid-sized organizations. Focus on building strategic partnerships, managing a robust pipeline, and translating complex HR needs into structured retainer-based engagements.

Location: Must be based in one of the following states: FL, CO, IL, MA, NH, RI, ME, CT, GA, SC, NC, or TX.

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle for HR Managed Services, including prospecting, discovery, and closing retainer-based engagements.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of companies under 500 employees seeking ongoing HR support.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with HR tech vendors, benefits brokers, and fractional CFO/COO networks to generate referrals.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to co-create campaigns and generate inbound/outbound leads.
  • Partner with Delivery Leaders to structure thoughtful service packages and scopes of work.
  • Represent the company as a thought leader in HR operations, compliance, and People strategy.

Requirements

  • Must be based in FL, CO, IL, MA, NH, RI, ME, CT, GA, SC, NC, or TX.
  • 8-10 years of direct sales experience in HR consulting, managed services, or People Ops.
  • Strong understanding of the HR lifecycle and People Operations for companies under 500 employees.
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a consultative environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, specifically HubSpot, and sales reporting dashboards.
  • Ability to build trust with executive buyers and HR leaders.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling strategic, retainer-based services.
  • SaaS sales experience.
