What you will do

• Research, develop, and test advanced manufacturing technologies to optimize current production needs for military aircraft products.
• Implement productivity improvements to increase throughput, enhance product quality, and reduce process variation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of mechanical, electrical, robotics, and software engineers.
• Plan and report on the lifecycle of manufacturing projects from early research to full production implementation.
• Interface with various departments to identify business opportunities for technological advancement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Software preferred).
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in industrial automation and control systems.
• Proven knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical systems.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Ability to work onsite in Buffalo/East Aurora, NY.
• Willingness to travel (less than 10%).

Nice to have

• Experience with Siemens NX.
• Knowledge of TRL (Technology Readiness Level) and MRL (Manufacturing Readiness Level) frameworks.
• Experience with Ignition, Fanuc, and Rockwell Automation.
• Practical computer programming experience.
