What you will do
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships at all levels within the assigned territory.
- Actively cold call, prospect, and build a pipeline for new business targeting the data center profile.
- Upsell core product sets to existing and new customers.
- Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and yearly margin results to achieve sales goals.
- Create and execute territory management plans while collaborating with the sales team.
- Travel periodically to visit key customer sites or attend industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales Management, or a related field (or 9+ years of experience).
- 5+ years of structured cabling sales and strategic account management experience.
- Experience in Data Center or Enterprise environments with an understanding of fiber infrastructure.
- Strong skills in solution-based selling and presenting technical solutions to business stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a target-driven environment.
