TL;DR
Sr. HR Business Partner (HRBP): Collaborating with business unit leaders to develop and execute HR strategies with an accent on employee relations, performance management, and compensation. Focus on scaling HR processes, managing complex employee relations issues, and ensuring legal compliance across multiple US jurisdictions.
Location: Onsite in Seattle, Washington; must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
Salary: $140,000–$160,000 (Annual base) + 10% target bonus

What you will do
- Partner with leaders to develop HR strategies that support overall business goals.
- Coach and counsel managers on maintaining positive employee relations and resolving people-related issues.
- Implement and improve cyclical talent programs, including Talent Reviews and performance management processes.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on headcount planning, job descriptions, and compensation leveling.
- Conduct investigations into employee relations issues and implement appropriate courses of action.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, HIPAA, EEO, ADA, and SOX).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; professional certifications (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP) are a bonus.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience covering benefits, compliance, and data analysis.
- Experience supporting business units or companies with at least 500 employees.
- Superior knowledge of US employment law, specifically in WA, CA, and NY.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; previous experience with Workday is a plus.
