TL;DR

Sales Engineer (API/Fintech): Providing technical expertise and consultation for data feed and API solutions with an accent on pre- and post-sales support. Focus on implementing technical solutions for enterprise clients and collaborating with product teams to optimize platform functionality.

Location: Onsite in New York, NY, USA (5 days a week). Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Salary: $110,000 base + $30,500 on-target variable commission

What you will do

  • Provide technical expertise and ongoing consultation to clients and prospects regarding customer-facing data feed and API solutions.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to determine and implement technical solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Coordinate with Product, Technology, and IT teams to communicate platform features, functionality, and underlying technologies.
  • Collaborate with remote development teams to build tailored client solutions for API and data feed products.
  • Manage a queue of technical requests and provide specifications for prospects and clients.
  • Share customer feedback and suggestions with Product teams to drive platform evolution.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical sales.
  • Experience in financial markets, strong technical skills, or sales/customer success expertise.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with large-scale enterprise clients (Investment Banks, Big 4, Fortune 500).
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce), project management software (Jira, Confluence), and Microsoft Office.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to work onsite in New York 5 days a week.
