TL;DR
Account Executive (Fintech): Selling PitchBook’s API and data feed solutions to clients in banking, investing, and advisory sectors with an accent on synthesizing client needs and technical capabilities. Focus on customizing data solutions, managing sales pipelines, and driving revenue growth through strategic account management.
Location: Onsite in New York, NY (5 days a week). Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Salary: Base $103,075 + $90,000 on-target variable commission.

What you will do
- Consult with clients and prospects to determine the suitability of data feed and API solutions within their processes.
- Partner with Commercial teams to sell and implement data feed and API solutions.
- Proactively explore opportunities to deepen commercial relationships using knowledge of customer business needs.
- Manage a queue of client projects and accurately forecast the opportunity pipeline.
- Collaborate with Direct Data Sales Engineers to customize technical solutions for customers.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in business development or customer success in a revenue-generating closing role.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and customer-facing data feed implementations.
- Ability to explain technical concepts like fuzzy matching and record reconciliation to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Catalyst, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship.
