TL;DR

HR Specialist (HR Operations): Providing operational support for onboarding, HRIS administration, and employee data reporting within a high-growth fintech environment with an accent on Workday management and compliance. Focus on optimizing HR processes using AI, ensuring data accuracy across payroll and finance systems, and managing the employee lifecycle.

Location: Onsite in Seattle, Washington, United States (5 days a week)

Salary: $82,000–$92,000 per year

What you will do

  • Manage the HR inbox and ServiceNow queue to resolve employee concerns within established SLAs.
  • Administer Workday to ensure accurate record-keeping, reporting, and audit readiness for employee data.
  • Implement emerging tools and AI technologies to enhance HR processes and the overall employee experience.
  • Partner with Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless data flow and timely payroll processing.
  • Coordinate leave of absence (LOA) case management and maintain compliance with applicable laws.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, HIPAA, and EEO.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of previous experience in Human Resources.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday experience strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and privacy.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
  • Must be able to work onsite in the office 5 days a week.

  • Experience supporting leave of absence (LOA) administration and coordinating with third-party administrators.
