Principal, Marketplace Solutions (Fintech): Leading complex, cross-functional programs to scale a CRE inspections and diligence marketplace with an accent on vendor ecosystem leadership and sales enablement. Focus on building scalable operating systems, optimizing vendor performance standards, and translating market reality into product requirements.
Location: Remote (USA). Must be able to travel to Nashville, TN at least twice per year and be willing to travel 30-50% for business needs.
Salary: $150,000 - 170,000 USD per year, plus commission

What you will do
- Drive marketplace outcomes by leading cross-functional programs across Sales, Product, and Operations to increase lender spend on CRE inspections and diligence.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for CRE inspections and pre-close diligence services to enable sales teams and lead executive-level discovery conversations.
- Build and maintain sales enablement assets, including playbooks, objection-handling, and ROI narratives.
- Negotiate high-value vendor partnerships, commercial terms, and SLAs with a focus on quality and scalable economics.
- Partner with Product leadership to translate field insights into clear requirements for marketplace tooling and vendor portals.
- Design and own vendor qualification and performance standards to ensure liquidity and buyer experience.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) diligence/inspections or services-based vendor network platforms.
- Demonstrated ownership of a third-party provider ecosystem, including recruiting, onboarding, and compliance.
- Direct experience working with lenders and a deep understanding of diligence procurement drivers.
- Proven commercial negotiation experience involving rate cards, pricing models, and SLAs.
- Strong cross-functional operating experience with Product, Operations, Finance, and Legal.
- Must be based in the USA and available for 30-50% travel.
Nice to have
- Experience with appraisal management companies or valuation technology providers.
- Prior exposure to lender-side procurement or risk functions in regulated, compliance-heavy environments.
- History of designing scalable systems such as vendor tiering models and quality assurance frameworks.
- Experience partnering with Product on bidding, quoting, or scheduling workflows.
