What you will do

• Serve as the technical accounting subject matter expert for stock-based compensation, business combinations, debt, equity instruments, and leases.
• Research, interpret, and document accounting conclusions under US GAAP, including the preparation of technical memos.
• Lead IPO readiness activities, including S-1 preparation, SEC comment responses, and coordination with external advisors.
• Partner with FP&A, Legal, Tax, and Product teams to evaluate accounting implications of new products and strategic initiatives.
• Design and maintain scalable accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support a public-company operating model.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure technical accounting positions are resolved efficiently.

Requirements

• CPA certification is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• 10+ years of combined experience in public accounting or technical accounting roles at global publicly traded growth companies.
• Deep and current knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with financial systems including NetSuite, Workiva, and Shareworks.
• Must be based in one of the specified US locations.
